There is hereby created a not for profit board known as the Buhler Wellness Center Board. Said board shall consist of five members with three members to be appointed by the city with the approval of the Buhler City Council. Two members shall be self appointed by a majority vote of the board.

In addition to the five members, members of the City Council may be appointed by the Governing Body as an Ex-Officio. The Mayor will have permanent Ex-Officio status on the Board. Other Ex-Officio members may be appointed as determined by a majority vote of the Board. The Ex-Officio member shall not have the right to vote.

The Board shall act in a policy making and advisory capacity and shall function to formulate the rules and regulations, fee schedule, and all other matters necessary to operate the Buhler Wellness Center. The Board shall make recommendations that may be necessary to the City Council.

The Board shall meet and conduct business as set out in their bylaws.

The Board may seek and accept contributions from any person, private, religious, civil, or charitable organization to assist in the operation of the Wellness Center.

The Board may actively promote public education about the use of the Buhler Wellness Center.

Any Board Member may be removed for good cause by majority vote of the Board.
